I’m Kate! A Southern California native who made Arizona home in 2017, where I now live with my husband and our child.

My career path has been anything but traditional, and that variety has shaped the creative professional I am today. Before starting a family, I gained hands‑on experience across several creative and customer‑focused roles, including Photography Assistant at Sebastian Photography, Filing Assistant at the Art Institute of San Diego, Attractions Team Member and later Team Lead at LEGOLAND California, Stocking and Setting Associate at Michael’s, and Bookseller at Barnes & Noble.

After four years as a stay‑at‑home mom, while taking on freelance art projects, I returned to the workforce in 2021. I joined Target as a seasonal Closing Expert and quickly advanced into leadership roles, eventually becoming a Visual Merchandising Team Lead and then a Specialty Sales Team Lead. During this time, I also completed my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts.

Today, I’m focused on building the creative career I’ve always envisioned. My work centers on Graphic Design and Illustration, blending my artistic background with the leadership, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills I’ve developed along the way.
